¾ cup (200g) canned chickpeas
(drained weight)
2 tbsp olive oil
2 tsp garam masala
1 tsp sea salt
1 tsp onion powder
1 Preheat the oven to 400°F (200°C). Drain the chickpeas, carefully
pat them dry with a kitchen towel, and transfer them to a bowl.
Add the oil, garam masala, salt, and onion powder and gently mix
with your hands until the oil and spices are evenly distributed.
2 Line a baking sheet with parchment paper and spread the
chickpeas over it so they lie in a single layer. Bake in the center of
the oven for 10 minutes, then turn. Increase the oven temperature to
425°F (220°C) and bake for a further 10–13 minutes. Leave to cool
completely and they will crisp up.
