List of Ingredients:
• 1/2 tbsp. flaxseeds (golden)
• ½ tbsp. of sesame seeds
• 1/3 cup of sunflower seeds
• 1/6 tsp. of salt
• ¼ tsp. extract (vanilla)
• ¼ cup honey
• ¼ cup of almond butter
• 1/3 cup currants
• 1/ cup peanuts (dry roasted variety)
• 1/3 cup apricots (dried and chopped)
• 1 cup of rolled oats
• 1cup puffed cereal (unsweetened, whole grain)
Preparation:
1. Preheat oven to 350°F.
2. In a bowl, mix peanuts, all 3 seeds, and oats.
3. Transfer to a greased baking dish.
4. Bake the oat mixture till the oats start to toast.
5. Shake pan for approximately 10 minutes.
6. Transfer back into the bowl.
7. Add cereal, apricots, raisins, and currants and mix slightly.
8. Using a saucepan, mix the butter, salt, honey, and extract.
9. Keep frequently stirring till the mixture bubbles.
10. Add sauce to the oat and raisin mixture and mix.
11. Transfer onto a greased pan.
12. Pressing the mixture into a layer, then put it into the fridge to cool and become firm.
13. Cut into slices and serve!
